Four generations for this Châteauneuf-du-Pape house rooted in the heart of the Rhône Valley for more than 70 years. In 1931, Charles Brotte, the founder, moved to Châteauneuf-du-Pape and created a bottling cellar, to offer wine lovers to the character of this country. The perfect floral expression of the golden berries (baies dorées)
Production notes
Harvested at peak maturity early in the morning. Gentle pneumatic pressing. Strict cold settling at 10°C for 48 hours before alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 15 days. No malolactic fermentation. Bottled in March.
Tasting notes
Clear yellow with green tinges. The bouquet offers a unique aromatic range including citrus flowers, exotic fruits, apricots, white-fleshed stone fruit and jasmine. Intensely fruity and well balanced. At once mouth-filling and fat which works in harmony with the flavours of exotic fruit and toasted brioche.
