About this winery

The Comte de Malet Roquefort estates today form a group of 7 winegrowing estates located in renowned appellations, exceptional terroirs of the Bordeaux wine region. At the heart of the Saint-Émilion region since 1705, the Malet Roquefort family has a long and storied history, which is closely linked to the destiny of Château la Gaffelière. For more than eight generations, the family has passed on the torch and the history of their vineyards.

Production notes

Drawing on his family history and experience, Alexandre de Malet Roquefort bought Château Armens in 1999. Wishing to enhance the personality of this Grand Cru, he invested heavily to modernize winemaking techniques and refine the wine's ageing process. The Domaines Comte de Malet Roquefort teams now work a total of 25 hectares. La Fleur d'Armens is the estate's second wine.
