About this winery

The Comte de Malet Roquefort estates today form a group of 7 winegrowing estates located in renowned appellations, exceptional terroirs of the Bordeaux wine region. At the heart of the Saint-Émilion region since 1705, the Malet Roquefort family has a long and storied history, which is closely linked to the destiny of Château la Gaffelière. For more than eight generations, the family has passed on the torch and the history of their vineyards.

Production notes

The story of Château la Connivence is one of friendship, a human adventure in which oenophile friends decide to create not “a good wine” but a “very good wine”. The legendary Pomerol appellation became the cradle of this connivance, uniting the 3 owners: Johan Micoud, former soccer international, Arnaud Wiltrand and Alexandre de Malet Roquefort, owner of Château la Gaffelière, Saint-Emilion. La connivence produces just 2,500 bottles La Belle Connivence is the estate's second wine.
