Deep ruby. Oaky torrefaction and vanilla dominate the nose, which only hints of spicy red fruit. Smooth, dense and suave, offering sneaky concentration and real poise along with rich, chewy red cherry, quinine and sweet spice flavors. Very long and youthfully chewy on the finish. This will repay cellaring. Spends three years in oak.
