It's Tempranillo with 10% Graciano from vineyards in Briones, fermented separately in small oak vats and matured in new and second use barriques for 24 months. It feels very young and lively, with a bright ruby color and a subtle and clean nose, with subtle perfume and balsamic aromas of cigar ash and incense. It has great balance and a clean palate, focused and gentle with a very Rioja profile. It feels like there is a big jump from the Crianza to the complexity of this Reserva. This is delicious right now.
