Blended of 85% Petite Sirah and 15% other varieties aged for 16 months in 28% new American oak, the 2015 Petite Sirah Ne Cede Malis is very deep purple-black in color and gives up notions of redcurrant jelly, cassis and black cherry compote with touches of sautéed herbs, cracked pepper and cinnamon stick. Medium to full-bodied, it fills the palate with spicy red and black fruit layers with a solid frame of grainy tannins and a peppery kick to the finish. 810 cases produced.
