Arboleda Chardonnay Aconcagua Costa
2021
About this winery
Arboleda, which means a grove of trees, is a tribute to the more than 1,450 hectares (3,583 acres) of native forest that surround its sustainably managed vineyards. Viña Arboleda was founded in 1999 by the Chilean vintner Eduardo Chadwick. The philosophy behind this project is to craft single-vineyard wines that reveal the purest expression of each unique terroir within its vineyards in the Aconcagua Valley.

Production notes
The natural conditions of the estate, in terms of soil, climate and topography, give the wine an acidity in perfect balance with the structure, the weight and a subtle smoothness coming from fermentation and aging in used French oak barrels.
Tasting notes
This Chardonnay presents citrus fruits on the nose, accompanied by pretty notes reminiscent of tropical fruits, as well as a final touch of pastry and dried fruits. In the mouth, according to what is perceived on the nose, the citrus profile dominates, in the aftertaste we find sweet notes reminiscent of pineapple, melon and mango. It is a juicy, fresh, long and vertical wine, with a nice fullness in the mouth, a chalky texture and a mineral finish.
