Production notes

The wines are aged in French oak barrels (1/3 new, 1/3 one-wine, 1/3 two-wine) for the tannic Syrah, Mourvèdre and Grenache; the softer Grenache wines are aged in concrete vats and century-old oak foudres to preserve the fruit.

Tasting notes

The wine is surprisingly round for its young age, with plenty of suppleness, freshness and elegant fruit. The Syrahs exude blackberry, white pepper and hints of menthol. The Grenache brings aromas of fresh raspberry and hints of fresh ginger. The texture is remarkably ample and velvety.
