About this winery

Product notes

We've taken great care to bring you the very best of Lestac: an elegant, high-quality wine under the Haut Médoc appellation.

Production notes

Located to the north of Bordeaux, AOC Haut-Médoc covers the southern part of the Médoc vineyards. Made famous by the prestigious Grands Crus to which it gave birth, the appellation produces exclusively red wines. These are generous, complex wines, known for their great ageing potential, in which Cabernet Sauvignon reveals its full potential.

Tasting notes

Appearance: Lively, deep red. Nose: Intense, revealing red and black fruit aromas nuanced by fine woody notes. Palate: Round and full-bodied, with mellow tannins and aromas of black cherry and spices. Les Hauts de Lestac is the ideal companion for red meats and game, especially recipes featuring mushrooms such as duck breast with cranberries or venison with porcini mushrooms.
