Winemaking notes

Traditional, in thermoregulated stainless steel vats. D de Lamarque is produced from a bleeding on every vat. It is allows a better fruit concentration. These bleeding are separately vinified.D de Lamarque is the second wine of Château de Lamarque. The letter D means “Donjon”. Château de Lamarque is a beautiful Haut-Médoc estate of 35 hectares of vines planted on a good terroir. Château de Lamarque produces wines of excellence, characterized by finesse and elegance.

Tasting notes

D de Lamarque 2012 has a delicate red colour with light orange tints. The wine is on the fruit and fleshy, with vanilla notes and spicy. It is well balanced and structured and long in the mouth. Ready and pleasant to drink young, it has, also, a good capacity to age.
