About this winery

Sonoma County is a diverse growing region with a complex terrain of small valleys, benchlands and hillsides. A coastal appellation, it is favored with fog in the morning and sunny afternoons cooled by maritime breezes. Product notes

We selected fruit from two California coastal areas where Cabernet grows best – the North Coast and Central Coast – to blend this wine. North Coast vineyards from Sonoma to Lake County give the wine fruit flavors of black cherry and blackberry with good tannin structure. Central Coast vineyards in Paso Robles and Santa Barbara bring rich, ripe red fruit characters and soft round tannins to the blend.

Production notes

After a combination of open and closed-top fermentation, the wine aged 8 months in French and American oak. Once the selection was made, the wine was assembled and bottled.

Tasting notes

This everyday drinking Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted to be rich in flavor and accessible. It showcases bright aromas of blackberries, plum and mocha that follow through to rich flavors of black cherries, cherry pie and notes of black tea. Well structured with a full and juicy mouth-feel, the wine delivers with a lingering finish.
