About this winery
The goal at Mission Hill is to ensure that future generations of farmers will continue to produce the Okanagan Valley's finest grapes and visitors will be able to enjoy the area's majestic beauty. Sustainability is critical to that long-term success. As a family-owned winery with strict control over the operations, vineyards, and quality they are able to infuse sustainability into a variety of stages both in the vineyards and at the winery.
Perpetua is a combination of richness, creamy texture and finely woven bright acidity anchored by pear, lemon curd and baking spice flavours. Perpetua shows an alluring purity and seamless integration of all the elements, with good length and intensity.
Harvested from four individual blocks in our eastern Osoyoos (88%) and Naramata Ranch (12%) vineyard estate. Historic French Burgundian Dijon clones were used lending a unique flavour and aromatic profile.
After gentle pressing, the wines were fermented and aged on fine lees for 15 months in a combination of concrete eggs, stainless steel and French oak barrels. 26 barrels produced.
