2018v Wine Allign: John Szabo- 92 Points Very pale. Fresh, tight, lime-driven in the classic Eden style. Very dry, high acid, but with depth and excellent length. Proper, tightly chiseled. This should drink beautifully into the late ‘20s. 2018 PENFOLDS Bin 51 Riesling - Nick Stock, JamesSuckling.com, November 29, 2018 “Super tight and flinty aromas with a burst of lime and pithy grapefruit and plenty of spicy spark. The palate is taut and succulent, showing slightly chalky texture and lime, apple and green-pear flavors, delivered with power through the finish. Prominent acidity. Drink now, but better as a 5 to 6-year-old wine.” 2018 PENFOLDS Bin 51 Riesling -Owen Bargreen, International Wine Report, November 2018 “The 'Bin 51' Riesling begins with aromas of petrol, green apple and green papaya. The freshness and verve to this dry Riesling is quite impressive. Loaded with mouth-watering acidity, this Riesling shows wonderful citrus and pitted fruit flavors as it remains fresh and light on its feet through the finish.”
