About this winery
In 1923, the renowned wine-maker, Alfredo Prunotto, took over the Cantina Sociale "Vini delle Langhe" in Alba which, right after the First World War, had fallen on difficult times. Thanks to Alfredo and his wife's great passion, the Prunotto winery soon became famous, exporting its wines throughout the world. The wine was aged for at least 18 months in oak barrels of varying capacities.
Tasting notes
Barolo Bussia is an intense ruby red color, lively and bright. Complex on the nose with rich notes of red fruit and floral aromas, accentuated by notes of roses, wildflowers, spices, and forest floor. The palate is intense with supple, silky tannins. The finish is long and harmonious
