Product notes

Vinification is tailored to each parcel, depending on the vintage, our aim being to transcend our terroirs to produce exceptional wines while respecting their own identities.

Production notes

Our terroirs are the result of a unique and ideal combination of soil and climate. The soils are composed of Garonne gravel on gravel-clay subsoils. What's more, the proximity of the Gironde estuary, which can be admired from our gravelly hilltops, plays a vital role in protecting and regulating the climate, by tempering meteorological excesses. With Aspirant de Beychevelle, the technical team at Château Beychevelle wanted to create a wine to be drunk fresh and fruity in the Saint-Julien appellation, with a majority of Merlot to make it more supple and delicious.
