Production notes
Ageing 10 to 12 months ageing in oak barrels, 35% new. Barrels Louis Latour cooperage, French oak, medium toasted.
Tasting notes
Our Volnay 1er Cru "En Chevret" 2021 has a deep ruby color with garnet highlights. Notes of blackcurrant, blackberry, morello cherry, grilled almond and licorice emanate from the nose. The palate is full and round with cherry and roasted aromas accompanied by pleasant tannins. Very long persistence.
