Product notes
Viognier and Chardonnay benefit from the Languedoc's special climate to offer superb expression. Mediterranean, with very hot, dry summers and mild winters, these two grape varieties, blended together, skilfully produce round, aromatic wines that are not devoid of freshness. Each grape variety is vinified separately at low temperatures to concentrate the primary aromas. The wines are then aged on lees for 3 months before blending.
Production notes
The grapes are cooled before pressing. Low-temperature alcoholic fermentation helps concentrate the primary aromas. Part of the wine is then aged on lees, giving it a slightly buttery aroma.
Tasting notes
Pale yellow color with brilliant highlights. An exuberant nose of white stone fruits such as apricot and peach, and white flowers. Full-bodied and generous on the palate, with a remarkable balance between acidity and fatness. The finish is greedy and fruity. Ideal with fish, white meats in sauce, Asian dishes and shellfish.
