Product notes

North meets south in this ripe and bright 50/50 blend. First, the South Okanagan Valley’s arid, desert-like landscapes deliver grapes with rich, round flavours. In contrast, the North Okanagan’s cooler temperatures and high elevation yield fresh and bright notes of green apple with a delicate balance of acidity. The finished blend of these two contrasting regions celebrate the uniqueness of both places. With each sip, you’ll experience the taste of the entire Okanagan Valley coming to life.

Production notes

The year began with a cool and wet spring, with significant precipitation in April/May and the latest bud break in the last ten years. However, July and August became quite warm, allowing ripening to makeup some lost time, and September and October were unseasonably warm, extending our summer season by several weeks. The result was wines low in alcohol but rich in flavour and with very good phenolic ripeness in general.

Tasting notes

Nose of apples, pears, and spice with a hint of wax and mineral. On the palate there is good fruit density with fresh acidity and a nice continuity of flavours.
