Product notes
A champagne born out of passion for tradition and exceptional quality since 1864, with expertise that has been preserved and passed down through four generations of cellar masters within the Jaeger family. Alfred Gratien is one of the last remaining Champagne Houses carrying out the entire vinification process using wood and has a portfolio comprised exclusively of tête de cuvée champagnes.
Production notes
First fermentation takes place in small 228 liter oak casks. To ensure that it maintains its original character, Alfred Gratien makes a conscious decision not to use malolactic fermentation in the production of its champagne.
Tasting notes
Delicate notes of peach, apricot and exotic fruits. Perfectly balanced, lively and fresh with persistent perlage. Perfect as an aperitif and it also pairs well with delicate fish and seafood dishes.
