Production notes

Penfolds Max Shiraz Cabernet is a tribute to former head winemaker Max Schubert 1948-1975, a legend in Penfolds history. The Max collection allows for the Penfolds style to be accessible right from purchase.

Tasting notes

A nice balanced mouth with aromas of red fruits, plums and fennel supported by a lively acidity. The oak is well integrated and offers a creamy texture and undertones of spice and cola. The tannins derived from the fruit are both fine and velvety.
